So a fist and quite busy week is over now. we are taking the weekend just to arrange our thoughts, and take in all the input we have received this week. This week introduced us to some Danish founders of firms which came all the way from little Denmark, and managed to create a successful firm here in California. Founders of companies such as Longboard media and Zendisk have been very inspirational in describing the process they have undergone, to come to where they are today.
All in all i would say that while it is clear that San Francisco and Silicon Valley hold some of the most talented people on this planet, they are also extremely down to earth people, open minded, and always open for having a cup of of coffee and discussing an exciting new idea. One gets the feeling that with a strong drive, and hard work, everything is possible here.
A visit to Google HQ, and to Stanford have shown exactly how supportive this area is for innovation, with strong networks and institutions that foster innovation.
A very exciting first week, have collected and gave out quite a few business cards, can't wait to see what next week has in store.
